Edmonton police seize 3D-printed gun, stolen firearms and vehicles

Two group are facing charges pursuing an investigation by nan Edmonton Police Service (EPS) into stolen vehicles and guns.

Officers executed a hunt warrant connected a location adjacent 105 Street and 38 Avenue successful March wherever they seized respective items including 2 stolen motorcycles, respective firearms and a 3D-printed gun.

A 39-year-old female was taken into custody and apprehension warrants were issued for a 37-year-old man.

Police later arrested nan man adjacent 142 Avenue and 80 Street successful a stolen 2008 Honda Civic that constabulary said had been re-vinned. EPS seized a loaded revolver during nan arrest, an further loaded handgun, an automatic firearm pinch over-capacity magazines and an assortment of ammunition.

“We are experiencing an alarming number of firearms successful nan stolen vehicles that we woody with,” said Sgt. Ian Vickers of nan EPS Southwest Special Projects Team. “These circumstances are making it progressively vulnerable for our officers and nan public.”

Damien Wayne Thomas Sharp is facing 21 charges including unauthorized possession of a firearm. Sharp’s adjacent tribunal day is May 24.

Chantelle Ann Cullum besides faces respective charges including possession of stolen property. She is scheduled to look successful tribunal connected June 18.
