Signed for a then club record fee of £35 million from Porto in 2020, Silva arrived in the West Midlands with high expectations, with Portuguese reporter Andrè Monteiro telling Wolves at the time his potential was like that of Cristiano Ronaldo and the striker he thought he was most like was Bobby Firmino. After finding the net just 4 times in 62 league appearances and several loan spells at Anderlecht, PSV, Rangers, and most recently Las Palmas, the striker’s time at Wolves looks set to come to an end.
