The facilities will be located in the Hickory Junction development, near Interstate 65 and State Road 39.
LEBANON, Ind — Fort Wayne-based Parkview Health on Tuesday, Aug. 26 announced plans for a "full-service" hospital and medical office building in Lebanon, Indiana.
The complex, located in the Hickory Junction development, near Interstate 65 and State Road 39, will be comprised of a 108,000-square-foot hospital and 30,000-square-foot medical office building.
The hospital will have a 24/7 emergency department, as well as inpatient medical, surgical and specialty care. The medical office building will house primary and specialty care facilities along with outpatient diagnosis and a shared employer clinic.
"By investing here, we want to ensure that families in Lebanon and surrounding communities can receive advanced care close to home, delivered by providers who are committed to their neighbors for generations to come," Dr. Greg Johnson, chief physician executive of growth markets for Parkview Health said in a statement.
"Parkview is focusing on the I-65 corridor to provide healthcare services aligned with the state’s growth initiatives, including the 9,000+ acre LEAP Lebanon Innovation District," Johnson said.
Construction on the hospital is expected to begin in 2026.
“This investment will bring expanded healthcare access, high-quality services, and new healthcare options to Lebanon and Boone County," Lebanon Mayor Matt Gentry said in a release. "Parkview’s commitment to Lebanon reflects the strength of our community, and we are eager to build a lasting partnership that benefits our residents for years to come.”
The target opening for the hospital is the summer of 2028.
