To me it almost seems like a delayed move, um, given all the news we saw last week of course President Trump, uh, signing off on crypto being part of 401k assets. Does Bitcoin at $123,000, uh, does that interest you at all? Do you think it's an undervalued asset class?

Well, uh, in our strategies we're we're playing vanilla equities, so we don't, uh, play in, uh, crypto. And I I look at it as a it's a speculative asset that, um, it does give us a good measure on investor sentiment. And so clearly, uh, Bitcoin at all time highs. Um, it's it's an indication of a bit of froth to me. Um, we're also seeing, um, you know, higher levels of margin debt. We're seeing lots of option trading, uh, we're seeing, um, you know, low levels of of cash. So, um, I use it as more of a a sentiment indicator, and it just shows that the bulls have been in control.

Tom, your thoughts on this moving Bitcoin.

01:09 Tom

Yeah, it makes sense to me. I mean, if you look across the scope of the markets, everything that's risk asset oriented is rallying. And there are various reasons for that, but I think Bitcoin is part of that. However, I'm going to disagree slightly with the previous guest. I'm I don't look at it as purely a speculative asset anymore. Every month in the 7th report, we're now doing a Bitcoin and crypto industry update. And the dissemination of the use of crypto and and Bitcoin across traditional finance and the banking industry is truly remarkable. Again, I I'm not trying to link everything back to the administration, uh, in this chat we're having, but the reality is, this is the world we're in. The administration is pushing crypto. They are pushing Bitcoin. Bitcoin is the lead dog in the crypto market. So I is it short term a little frothy? Sure, but longer term there are some fundamental changes here that I think are bullish for it and we'll send it much higher in the future.

John, real quick to you. I mean, could you just based on what Tom said, could you is it almost time to view Bitcoin as a stock?

03:00 John

Uh, it's a good question. I think, uh, a lot of companies have tried to turn, uh, Bitcoin into stock by becoming treasury companies to to a great deal of success, but, um, you know, you can't treat it like a stock because there are no cash flows that you could discount to determine what an intrinsic valuation is. Uh, so maybe more like a digital gold is probably good a good analogy.
