Al Nassr confirmed the move with a social media post, as the Portugese forward has agreed on a two-year contract that will keep him at the Saudi club until June 2027.

“I’m here to spread joy. Let’s win together.": read Al-Nassr’s post on X, formerly Twitter.

As per reports, Joao Felix moves to Al-Nassr on a 30 million euro initial deal, which has add-ons as well as sell-on clause up to 50 million euro.

What Is Joao Felix’s Record At Chelsea?

Felix initially joined Chelsea on loan during the winter transfer window of the 2022/23 season, making an impact by scoring four goals in 20 appearances. This led to Chelsea signing him permanently from Atletico Madrid for £46.3 million.

He spent the second half of the 2024/25 campaign on loan at AC Milan.

Felix, now 25, made a blockbuster move from Benfica to Atletico Madrid in 2019, but has since seen his fortunes decline.

Felix’s professional career began at Benfica, where his performances attracted the attention of Atletico Madrid. In the summer of 2019, he made a record-breaking transfer to Atletico Madrid. During his time there, he achieved notable successes, including winning the La Liga title. Internationally, Felix has earned 45 caps for Portugal since his debut in 2019.

The Portuguese star has departed the Blues on a permanent basis, joining Saudi Pro League side, Al-Nassr.

“We thank Joao for his efforts across his two spells at the club and wish him well for the future," Chelsea said in a statement.

Felix remains one of the most expensive transfers in history, following his move to Atletico for 127.7 million euros ($147.3 million) in 2019.

He has since had stints at Barcelona, AC Milan and Chelsea, but has failed to score more than 10 goals a season since leaving Benfica.
