Vietjet is strengthening its footprint between Singapore and Vietnam with a significant expansion of services to Phu Quoc and Da Nang. Starting in November and December 2025, the airline will increase flight frequencies on both routes, giving Singapore-based travellers more flexibility and choice. From 23 December, the Singapore–Phu Quoc service will grow to seven round trips per week. From 21 November, the Singapore–Da Nang service will double to two daily return flights. This expansion lifts Vietjet’s total Singapore–Vietnam flights to 49 weekly round trips, connecting Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, and Phu Quoc.

Special promotion marks route expansion

To celebrate this network growth, Vietjet is offering a limited-time promotion to Singapore-based travellers. From 28 August until midnight on 30 August 2025, tickets across all Singapore–Vietnam routes will be available from just SGD86 one way. These fares apply for travel between 1 October 2025 and 27 May 2026, excluding peak periods. Tickets can be booked online at website or via the Vietjet Air mobile app. The promotion highlights Vietjet’s strategy of pairing affordable fares with increased connectivity, ensuring that both leisure and business travellers can explore Vietnam with greater ease and value.

Phu Quoc emerges as a must-visit island

Phu Quoc has gained international recognition as one of Southeast Asia’s must-visit destinations in 2025. Known for its pristine beaches such as Bai Sao, Bai Truong, and Bai Khem, the island offers a blend of natural beauty and cultural charm. Visitors can explore the Phu Quoc National Park, discover vibrant fishing villages, or relax at world-class resorts. With direct flights from Singapore now daily, travellers have easier access to this tropical paradise. The increased service reflects strong demand from Singaporean tourists eager for quick escapes to sun, sand, and sea.

Da Nang strengthens its appeal

Da Nang, Vietnam’s most liveable city, is another major beneficiary of Vietjet’s expanded services. With two daily flights from Singapore starting in late November, travellers gain greater flexibility to explore this coastal hub. Da Nang boasts long sandy beaches, dynamic nightlife, and close proximity to UNESCO World Heritage sites. Hoi An Ancient Town, My Son Sanctuary, and the Imperial City of Hue are all within easy reach. Highlights also include the Golden Bridge at Ba Na Hills, a flourishing culinary scene, and modern resorts. With more frequent connections, Da Nang is set to attract even more visitors from Singapore.

Meeting growing travel demand

The decision to expand flights comes as travel demand between Singapore and Vietnam continues to rise. Year-end and new year holidays are traditionally busy periods, and Vietjet is positioning itself to capture this surge. By offering 49 weekly round trips across four major Vietnamese destinations, the airline ensures that passengers have flexible travel schedules. Increased frequencies not only ease access for tourists but also boost opportunities for business travel. The expansion reflects the importance of Singapore as a strategic market and gateway for Vietnam’s aviation and tourism growth.

Commitment to safe and enjoyable journeys

Vietjet continues to emphasise its commitment to passenger safety, affordability, and service quality. The airline operates with a modern fleet and provides friendly service from well-trained crews. Passengers can enjoy fresh hot meals on board, as well as a vibrant atmosphere with cultural and artistic performances on special occasions. Vietjet’s SkyJoy loyalty programme adds extra value, rewarding frequent flyers with exclusive benefits. The combination of reliable operations, affordable fares, and engaging passenger experiences sets Vietjet apart as a preferred choice for travel between Singapore and Vietnam.

Flight schedules for new services

The enhanced schedules provide clear options for travellers. On the Singapore–Phu Quoc route, flight VJ984 departs at 13:05 and arrives at 13:45, while return flight VJ983 leaves Phu Quoc at 15:45 and lands in Singapore at 18:30. On the Singapore–Da Nang route, flight VJ970 departs at 11:15 and arrives at 13:10, with an evening option on flight VJ890 leaving at 19:55 and arriving at 21:45. Return flights include VJ973 at 13:10 and VJ889 at 15:00. These schedules offer passengers a mix of daytime and evening flights to suit varied travel plans.

Strengthening regional tourism links

The expanded connections are also expected to enhance tourism flows between Singapore and Vietnam. Singaporeans gain easier access to Vietnam’s top leisure destinations, while Vietnamese travellers benefit from more opportunities to explore Singapore. Increased connectivity supports cultural exchange, boosts economic ties, and stimulates regional tourism growth. With Phu Quoc and Da Nang now more accessible, Vietjet is contributing to the positioning of Vietnam as a key player in Southeast Asia’s travel market. The expansion reflects both rising demand and the airline’s long-term vision for regional growth.

A new chapter for Singapore–Vietnam travel

Vietjet’s expanded services to Phu Quoc and Da Nang mark an important milestone in Southeast Asian aviation. By offering more flights, attractive fares, and seamless schedules, the airline is transforming travel options for Singapore-based passengers. With 49 weekly flights now connecting four of Vietnam’s most exciting destinations, Vietjet is bridging cultures and strengthening tourism links across the region. The combination of natural beauty, cultural richness, and modern services ensures that travellers will see Vietnam not just as a holiday destination but as a hub of experiences. Vietjet’s expansion confirms that the future of Singapore–Vietnam travel is brighter and busier than ever.
